Cheap Ebook Reader

Ebook readers are available to suit all requirements and budgets and if you don't want to spend a lot, you can grab yourself a cheap ebook reader without too much trouble.

I don't know about you, but I've always been a fan of traditional books - an ebook reader was something I never considered.

"What would I do with an ebook reader?", is what I used to ask myself - I thought that nothing would ever take the place of 'proper' books.

Nevertheless, although nothing will ever take the place of a 'proper' book, I have to admit that from a convenience and practicality point of view, I am now an ebook reader convert through and through.

What are the things that I love the most?

Well, I love that it's so portable.

I love that I can read what I want, wherever I am.

I love that the sun doesn't reflect on the screen, so I can sit out in the sun and read if I want to.

I think it's great that for much less, I can do almost the same with my cheap ebook reader as a lot of my friends can do with their more expensive models.

And I love that it was such amazing value for money!

I've always adored reading and our house has always been full of books.  I love to curl up in a comfortable chair with a good book and to be honest, an electronic book reader just didn't have the same appeal.

I couldn't comprehend how anyone could choose an ebook reader over the thousands upon thousands of physical books there are out there.

A family member was responsible for eventually converting me to an ebook reader fan, but initially, I wasn't impressed by them at all.

"Go on, it won't bite you.  Why don't you have a play around with it?", urged my sister-in-law, as I begrudgingly took it, determined to find fault with it.

It took all of 20 minutes for me to realize that I desperately wanted an ebook reader of my own!  Usually, I'm not into gadgets at all, but I really wanted this one!

As soon as I could, I began looking around for a cheap ebook reader.  There were two reasons for this - firstly, I don't like to pay more for what you can get for less, and secondly, as impressed as I was, I didn't want to outlay a lot on something that I might end up deciding really wasn't for me.

Just to let you know - I got the most fantastic ebook reader for a great discount. There were so many models to choose from, which all had the features I wanted, at great prices, so I was very happy with my purchase.

Well, I made my choice, but what about you?  What are you looking for in a cheap ebook reader?

Well, you'll need to determine what you want it for and what you want it to do, eg;
  • What will you need it for? Do you just want to read ebooks on it?
  • Do you want a web browser?
  • Do you want wireless connection to the internet?
  • Would you prefer a regular screen, or is a touch screen more your thing?
  • Would you like an LCD, e-ink or e-ink Pearl screen?
  • Do you want a text to speech feature?
  • Do you want a dictionary integrated into your ebook reader?
  • Maybe a color ebook reader is on your list of preferences?
